ASSIGNMENT: Glogster Project/OF MICE AND MEN (an introduction)

You will be required to do the following:

1. RESEARCH USING THE WEB RESOURCES BELOW
2. WRITE A PARAGRAPH COMPARING THE GREAT DEPRESSION TO TODAY'S FINANCIAL CRISIS.
3. COMPLETE A GLOGSTER.
*

ASSIGNMENT: Look back at all the information you've collected and the insight you've gained about the 1930s. If you had to represent the 1930s visually, what images come to mind? What symbols would you choose? What would be the tone of the Glogster as a whole? You will copy and paste images and links to represent your ideas. All images should be relevant or representative of the information you've gathered. Include a brief label for each image/idea you choose. Once you've created your Glogster, think about its impact as a whole--write an explanatory caption that explains how it captures what you've learned about the 1930s.
